Ingredients

1 stick salted butter

1 c all purpose flour

2 tsp baking powder

1 c + 1/4 c brown sugar

1 tsp cinnamon

1/2 tsp salt

1 c milk

1 tbs + 1 tbs vanilla extract

2 c blueberry

juice and zest from 1 lemon

Instructions

Preheat oven to 375 degrees.  Drop the butter in a 9x14 baking dish and pop the dish in the oven for about 8-10 minutes or until the butter melts and slightly browns.


In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour, 1 c brown sugar, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt. Whisk until it is well combined and uniformed. Add in the milk and 1 tbs vanilla, mix until combined.


In a bowl toss together the blueberries, 1 tbs  vanilla extract, 1/3 c brown sugar, lemon zest, and lemon juice. Toss to combine.


In the 9x13 baking dish, pour over half the blueberry mix, then layer all of the batter on top, do not stir. Then top the batter with the remaining blueberries. Bake for 45 minutes. Serve with vanilla ice cream and enjoy!
